FIS Global HQ
The FIS Global Headquarters project in Jacksonville, Florida, reflects David Allen Company’s commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and precision. Spanning eleven months, the team installed more than 65,000 square feet of tile and 8,000 square feet of natural stone throughout a 12-story Class A office space overlooking the St. James River. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the team maintained an aggressive schedule through night and weekend shifts, onsite coordination, and proactive planning. Quality was ensured through strict adherence to control measures, a custom-built Quality Control Manual, and the use of ProCore software for daily reporting and material management, allowing for seamless communication and problem-solving with general contractor Gilbane.
Exceptional attention to detail defined every phase—from preconstruction planning to material sourcing. When global supply chain issues affected the original stone selection, the team adapted swiftly by sourcing alternative marble from Alabama, preserving the design vision without compromising timeline or quality. The installation featured precise book matching, integrated LED lighting at a monumental stair, and a custom-carved, backlit FIS logo, all completed with intricate coordination across trades. Through innovative value engineering, such as resizing stone panels for cost efficiency, David Allen Company delivered a refined, enduring finish that reflects their century-long legacy of excellence in the industry.

Over the years, Gilbane Building Company has worked with Daved Allen Company on numerous projects of various size and scope and we continue to contact them for future project opportunities; based on their ability to man the project, stay on schedule, proide quality workmanship, and provide the team approach needed for complex projects.
Most recently we had the opportunity to work with David Allen Company on the FIS Headquarters project that was completed in 2023. This uniquely challenging project consisted of a 12-story 378,000 sf class-A office tower with separate retail shell, parking garage, and connector tower. They were always prepared to keep up with the changes in the work and schedule that inevitably occured in a compled project such as this.
Based on our long-term experience, and their performance on thsi project, I would highly recommend the David Allen Company team to any construction company or client and welcome their participation on future projects with our company.
