Mr. Roberson has provided the leadership for the David Allen Company for more than 60 years. Having served as a leader and president of several national and industry associations for marble, granite, terrazzo, and tile, he is a highly regarded business and industry leader, a visionary consultant, and a mentor.

David Roberson,

CEO


David manages the Terrazzo Division of David Allen Company and is recognized throughout the industry as an innovative leader with over 45 years’ experience in terrazzo contracting. This experience includes every aspect of the industry from hands-on job site to national industry leader and consultant. For the past 36 years, he has managed the largest terrazzo operation in the South. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Campbell University. He has served as the President of the National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association (NTMA), Chairman of the Marketing Committee, and on the Board of Directors for 18 years. David has chaired the NTMA Technical Committee and performance quality inspections for the NTMA throughout the country.

David manages the Terrazzo Division of David Allen Company and is recognized throughout the industry as an innovative leader with over 45 years’ experience in terrazzo contracting. This experience includes every aspect of the industry from hands-on job site to national industry leader and consultant. For the past 35 years, he has managed the largest terrazzo operation in the South. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Campbell University. He has served as the President of the National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association (NTMA), Chairman of the Marketing Committee, and on the Board of Directors for 17 years. David has chaired the NTMA Technical Committee and performance quality inspections for the NTMA throughout the country.



Arthur Odom,

President


Art holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and is a certified public accountant with over 39 years’ experience in construction accounting and finance, including 3 years’ work with a general contracting firm and over 26 years at David Allen Company (formerly serving as the company’s Vice President and CFO). He is past Chairman of the Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABC) and current National Board Member as well as Past Chairman of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). He also serves as a mentor to other construction leaders and works with legislative leadership for the promotion of a higher level of professional management within the industry.




Arthur Odom

President


Art holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and is a certified public accountant with over 38 years’ experience in construction accounting and finance, including 3 years’ work with a general contracting firm and over 25 years at David Allen Company (formerly serving as the company’s Vice President and CFO). He is past Chairman of the Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABC) and current National Board Member as well as Past Chairman of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). He also serves as a mentor to other construction leaders and works with legislative leadership for the promotion of a higher level of professional management within the industry.



Martin Howard,

Executive Vice President–Tile,
Stone, and Branch Operations


Martin oversees the Tile, Stone, and Pre-Construction Divisions, including all Branch Operations. He has more than 37 years’ experience in the construction industry, including general contracting, and over 26 years in David Allen Company management roles. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Appalachian State University and has had management responsibilities in every area of the David Allen Company tile and marble operation. Martin is a highly regarded expert and consultant in the technical aspects of tile and stone and serves as President of the National Tile Contractors Association and is a member of the Technical Committee; and Standards and Methods, Training and Education, and Finance Committees. Additionally, Martin serves as an American National Standards Institute A108 committee member and the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO-189 committee, and represents the NTCA on the Tile Council of North America Handbook Committee. He is also a frequent speaker at Industry Events including Coverings, International Tile and Stone Exposition West, and Total Solutions Plus.

Christopher Walker,

Vice President—Northeast Region


Chris is the Vice President – Northeast Region for operations at the David Allen Company. He has more than 31 years as a professional manager and installer in the tile Industry and is associated with the successful installation of millions of feet of commercial projects. Chris is regarded as an industry expert also serving the industry as Chairman of the American National Standards Institute A-108 Committee, Chairman of the US TAG ISO T-189, 1st Vice President of the National Tile Contractors Association, Board of Directors – Associated Builders & Contractor (ABC) Virginia, as well as a voting member of the NTCA and TCNA Handbook and Technical Committees.




Christopher Walker

Vice President—Northeast Region

Chris is the Vice President – Northeast Region for operations at the David Allen Company. He has more than 30 years as a professional manager and installer in the tile Industry and is associated with the successful installation of millions of feet of commercial projects. Chris is regarded as an industry expert also serving the industry as Chairman of the American National Standards Institute A-108 Committee, Chairman of the US TAG ISO T-189, 1st Vice President of the National Tile Contractors Association, Board of Directors – Associated Builders & Contractor (ABC) Virginia, as well as a voting member of the NTCA and TCNA Handbook and Technical Committees.



Joseph “Bo” Martin,

Vice President – Finance


Bo has been with the David Allen Company since 2014 and manages the Company’s finances from the Raleigh headquarters. He is responsible for all corporate administrative matters, finance, accounting, banking, bonding, insurance, fleet, and IT systems. Bo is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional and holds an Associate Degree in Accounting from Hardbarger Business College. He is a previous business owner and has more than 25 years’ experience in construction accounting and finance. He is a member of the Financial Advisory Board of Cornerstone Fellowship Church of Apex, where he has served for over 20 years. Bo previously served on the Board of Directors of the Triangle Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association for 10 years.

Corporate Secretary


Ann brings extensive experience and training from the banking industry, corporate sales, management and leadership to her role as Corporate Secretary for David Allen Company. Ann joined the David Allen team in 2011 as Sales Coordinator. Following her advancement to a position of training and mentorship, she transitioned to the David Allen Company Executive team as Corporate Secretary in 2018.
